Rota do Triangulo Tourist Circuit Association – IGR Rota do Triangulo , is a civil entity under private law, non-profit, founded on April 5, 2001 and certified as IGR since March 13, 2006, in accordance with State Decree no. °43,321/2003 and by Law nº 22,765/2017, which established the State Tourism Policy, which follows the guidelines of the Tourism Regionalization Program, established by the Ministry of Tourism for tourist regions.

The IGR Rota do Triângulo is a Regional Governance Instance integrated by municipalities in the same region, with cultural, environmental, social and economic affinities , which come together to organize, develop and consolidate local and regional tourist activity in a sustainable, regionalized and decentralized way , with the participation of civil society and the private sector.

The institution's mission is to promote the development of sustainable and regionalized tourism in associated municipalities, establishing and strengthening partnerships to generate businesses linked to tourism in the region, promoting the appreciation of cultural identity in the recovery of history and territory, generating employment and income , improving the quality of life, preserving and enhancing local vocations, through historical, religious, cultural, gastronomic, ecological, rural, adventure, business, leisure tourism, among others. Provide tourists with the opportunity to discover the memories of a people and their characteristics , which remain alive through the centuries.

The Rota do Triângulo Tourist Circuit was created with the aim of becoming the brand of the Triângulo Mineiro , since the previous names did not represent the region, it began with Circuito Turístico dos Lagos, then Circuito Turístico Alta Mogiana, which also did not represent the Triângulo. . Starting from a regional study through the Branding strategy, the need to create our own brand was identified, thus Rota do Triângulo emerged, connecting us to our way. A new circuit emerges, also a new way of doing and speaking. A new image.
